Can anyone tell me what these lights are?

[timmilgram]

Looking for something like the lights in this video, back lighting the subject. Take a look at around 55 seconds:

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it!

[David W. Jones]

Not sure about the backlight.

Are you talking about the Kino Flo's in the background used as set design?

[Liam Hall]

Looks like a Beam Bar at 55 secs. It's likely just in there as part of the set as David says Illumination is coming from a more powerful single source like a fresnel spot light directed into the smoke. Could be a joker, could be an Arri or any number of fixtures. Difficult to tell as the vid is covered in post-produced star/flare filters.

[Mitch Gross]

Do you mean the multisource lights behind the female singer? Those look like MR16 bars like an Altman Zip Strip.

[Phil Rhodes]

We call those a howie batten.

And ours are better, because they have 20 MR16s instead of 10!

And they've been known to get hot enough to drip molten solder onto the cast!

They are a menace.

[dwiener]

Or possibly LED strip lights like colorblazes
