Can AE be imported into Vegas?

Re: Can AE be imported into Vegas?

Although I haven't done it I know people who Render a file in Vegas and then import into After Effects and visa versa.

Anyone dispel this myth in my head?

AE can be "used with" any NLE in the way John describes -- exporting and importing files back and forth.

If you're asking if it can be used as a plug-in and opened *within* Vegas, then, no. You can't even do that with Premiere.
