Can 480/60i be made to match 480/24P?

I was using an HVX200 and had set and SAVED a scene file for 480/24P and shot a tape with it, then when I changed the battery the scene file setting did not save (perhaps the internal lithium is dead?) and reverted to 480/60i. I shot awhile in that mode until I noticed it and changed back to 24P.

My question is: Is there a filter or technique that will make the 60i footage look more like the 24P footage?

Yes there are filters; look into Nattress filters for FCP, he has a pretty good 60i->24p converter.
