Cameras - 2 FX1s or 1 DVX?

I have two camera choices for a short narrative film.

1. Two Sony HDR-FX1s

2. One DVX100A

From what I've read on these forums, it seems that the major downsides to using the FX1, which I've never used, are the Cineframe 24 mode and the lack of XLR inputs.

Despite the opportunity of having an HDV two-camera shoot with the FX1, I'm personally leaning toward using the single DVX but I'd like to hear opinions from other people who have used both cameras.

Thanks.

I used to own the FX1, and shooting CF30 looks great, without the downsides of CF24. Still looks pretty indistinguishable from 24p. Yeah, not having XLR sucks, but buying a Beachtek adapter is easy. I'd go with the FX1. Definitely. Here are some example frames i've shot.

not getting into fx-1 vs dvx, but I would only use 1 camera on a narrative. 2 camera shoots are a pain and not worth it to me for narrative work unless the situation just really calls for it. I'd pick the DVX, just because I like the controls better - the FX1 produces some great images as Andrew has shown. Another thing to think about is post - are your set to edit HD?
