Anyone ever made a camera slider from a plotter? I've recently acquired a canon W8200 x-y plotter. It has a 44" carriage. I was thinking bout using it to make a linear camera slider for my 60d. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with drive motors on plotter carriages. How to operate it, etc.
