Camera Rental Question

This question doesn't seem to fit any of the categories, so I first posted it in the "Marketplace" and got a good answer from TC...but I thought I would post it here and see if I can get any other answers.

In January or February I need to go down to Santa Nella, CA to film a religious service for a pastor acquaintance of mine. When I originally agreed to do it I had access to an XL-1 that belonged to a buddy of mine; however, he has recently decided to sell the camera (shipped it to the new owner today) and is moving to Georgia.

It looks like I won't be able to buy my DVX until April or May (at the earliest), so I am trying to find rental locations in Sacramento/Vacaville/Bay Area so I can start getting quotes on renting a camera. Anyone know of any good rental places I should check?

Thanks,
Larry

Re: Camera Rental Question

Since no one has responded, I'll respond if only to say that I'm an east coast fella, and thus cannot be of assistance to you on this issue.

Hopefully someone else will pop in to assist you.

Re: Camera Rental Question

Thanks for the information and contact info...I will give Susan a call and see what they can do for me. I hope it's not going to be too much, I hadn't anticipated spending any money on this project...but at least I'll get a chance to try out the DVX finally (unless it costs too much :o).

Thanks again,
Larry
