Camera on a remote control car?

Hey all,

I am trying to get a new camera rig up for a (hopefully) pending Quest Fest entry with a remote control car. I know it can be done technically - they did it with Crank 2. Just I can't figure it out.

I retrofitted an old RC car I had lying around and the attempt failed miserably. The camera was shaking way too much to be usable. I have a feeling it had to do with the treads rather than it having wheels.

Has anyone thought of this before? Or done it successfully?

Found a quick and cheap workaround.

Human operator on a skateboard being guided by another human spotter. Much smoother. Usable. And controlled.

Yeah, better idea.

I did the camera on an RC car thing once upon a time and rolled the car. The cam has never been the same since.
