Camera Movement

I'm looking to buy some kind of reasonably priced steadicam-type thing for my DVX. It seems varizoom's flowpod is the most affordable for what it does. Has anyone used one of these? Is there something else that I should be looking at in this price range or lower? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They will all work, including the homebuilt types.

For a low cost model, there's nothing wrong with a Flowpod.
