camera mounted LCD for HD......

The only HD on camera LCD I'm aware of is the soom to be released 6" HDM-EV30D from Erg-Ventures.
It is expected to have a street price around $2500.00.

i have a little 1200 x 234 camera mounted LCD. this one:

its not HD spec by any means of course, but neither was the price. at any rate the horizontal pixel count is alot higher than most little LCDs which are 480 x234 . theres another one I saw at B+H this one here:

has 1440 x 234 .. but its 7 inches instead of 5.8 .. so the pixel density is about the same.
anyway the screen on the one i have is alot clearer than my portable DVD player from the video in. it sucks batteries like a fish sucks water. but it works well// not by any means clear enough for HD focusing, but for framing and composition and using focus assist and the LCD on camera it easy to judge focus.. focus assist shows up in the external monitor as well so that maks it easy off that. and if the project demands it.. ill rent a HD LCD or buy one.
