Camera Mount on DVX100A

I am new to all of this: making my first documentary film. I know that it is not recommended to put a mic on the camera. (I plan to buy an Oktava with a hyper cardioid.) But I am usually a one or at most a two person crew. The mic will have to go on the camera. Can an Oktava in a Sambra shock mount be mounted in the dvx mic holder? I plan to put a wireless mic receiver on the hotshoe. Or would you not use a shock mount?

Thanks.

look at the ktek inside the camera microphone adapter
then look for shot suspention with grip which sits on the adaptor in 90^
octava is not abest to place over the camera , better look for something that longer and has low fq cutt off .
fo wind protection for cheap look at double foam from windtecch and the fur wich can sit over .
