Camera Light

Hello all,


I have a video production business and just purchased the DVX 100b to use as my main camera. I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge about what light would work best with it for Prom or Wedding situations?

I purchased a Sunpak not too long ago and it works only for 20 minutes max and then dies out. I need something that is strong and lasts, perhaps runs off its own battery supply.

Any suggestions?

I really like the LitePanel. It's not so harsh, but on the downside if you're not close to your subject, you're not going to get too much light. I think it's the best oncamera light I've seen. It's fully dimmable, has slides/filters, and the battery lasts a relatively long time.

The major drawbacks are it's expensive and I think it's heavy when shooting handheld

I use a Pag c6. The battery is a brick but it lasts a long time. The light itself is very small and adds very little weight to the camera.
