Hi, does anyone know of a decent camera light that can also be used off camera to help shape light for interviews etc - will be off travelling soon (India, Nepal...) & would like to get a light that will do both to some extent. i know 1 light is not ideal for creative set ups but i need to be able to fit all my camera equipment in 1 bag - if i could get a light that would cover both i think it would be worth taking along
i see the comer 1800 is pretty popular but am not sure if it would work very well off camera, looks to have plenty of power but not a great deal of control over the light it emits, & also not sure the 4000k colour would be so good for getting decent skin tones with other lighting around
the dedo ledzilla looks interesting, i love the standard dedo light for shaping very precise light & the ledzilla seems to have similar subtle adjustments all be it with less power - but its very expensive & I cant find any real life reviews on it - makes me a bit nervous - is this because its just too over priced that nobody has one...
does anyone have any experience with either of these lights or have other suggestions so far as using off camera as a single light interview type set up. Im already assuming they will work well as a camera light, its off camera that would make my decision easier
