Camera Insurance

I live in LA and work for a company based in San Diego. I am full time for them but work as an independent contractor and do all of the filming/editing for them. I'm out filming at different locations everyday but do the editing at my home. I have over $10,000 worth of equipment(multiple computers, cameras, accessories, etc.). I have renter's insurance but that doesn't cover me while I'm out working in the field. In my line of work, it's pretty easy to have my equipment get damaged/stolen and would like it all to be protected. Does anyone happen to know any companies that can cover this? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Brad Buell at Buell Ins.: 1-800-842-8355. I've been with him since 1997. I used to post my rates when these discussions would periodically come up and he'd get flooded with calls because it was so low, but I found out a year or two ago, I have a 'grandfathered' plan that he can no longer offer and he would have to explain it to everyone who called. I don't know what the rates are for newer plans, but the people that I have sent to him that decided to go with him are happy.
