Camera Housing and car mounts

Hello all,

I am shooting a film that has a number of situations where we will be putting the camera in a number of stressful situations, such as shaking the camera, falling with the camera (not dropping the camera), and the like. I was wondering if there were any good indie-priced camera/camcorder (dvx 100a) housings. I have found a few underwater housings, but was hoping to spend less than thousands of dollars on a housing.

Also, I am looking for affordable, and reliable, car mounts for the DVX. Does anyone know of any reasonably priced exterior car mounts?

Thank you,

Even if you get a cheap car mount most likely it won't allow to rig any lights to the hood. From my expereince of shooting car scenes -- don't. Just tell the director to figure it out how to do it in statinary car, or right before the occupants enter the car. You will get way better coverage and more flexibility instead of ghetto looking moving car shoot.
