Camera Filters for AE or any other programe?

Isn't there a plug-in for AE that simulates a real camera filters. What I mean is, I'm looking for a plug-ins that give a real effect in post how it would on set with a camera. Also, isn't there a filter to give a light effect on a Strong HMI light? like you see in this clip? click below. I know there has to be plug-in's that help create a lighting effect on background lights.

I know how to do that in the camera but I don't have the money to do that, but woundering if there is a way to do that in post?

Magic Bullet Looks (the newest one) gives you a camera simulation where you can place different filters at different points on the camera's path (eg, subject, at the mattebox, in the lens, etc.)

I've never sat down and worked with it, but I'm pretty sure you can do some lens flares like the one in that clip.
