Camera equipment for filming in the Amazon, Brazil

Hello,

I'm traveling to the Amazon in November and trying to not bring my 5dmk2 and 7d packages. The reasons are because we'll be shooting on the fly, I don't want to drag a ton of gear around, and I will be filming tribes and cultures that have never seen video gear so I want to practice good etiquette and respect by not threatening these delicate tribes.

Can anyone make a good camera recommendation based off my situation?

Here's what I'm looking for:
1. Quality sound
2. 1080p & 24/30/60fps
3. Small (fits in the palm of my hands)
4. doesn't overheat due to humidity and hot climates
5. built with a sharp quality lens
6. interchangeable lenses?

I will be bringing a couple of gopros and a zoom cam, but want something that's going to give me a great image beyond those cameras.

Camera even smaller than 5D? May be you can take a 5D (due to the full frame and helpful if you can get inside a house) plus a 24-105, plus a LCD viewfinder. Also, a small Go Pro kind of camera for those unique point of view. You can attach that to your boat as well.
