I had to share this photo I found from a story on Videography.com.

The show is the United States of Tera. The photo shows the DP, David Mullen, ASC and presumably the director discussing a shot. The cam op or cam assist has the Panavision Genesis up against the wall as he texts/checks his phone.

I know he is very capable of his job, but I laughed out loud at the inopportune moment where he was caught looking at his phone. I guess I just liked how it conflicted and ruined the nice "action" shot of the crew at work.

Haha that is pretty funny.

And speaking of David Mullen, the DP, helpful guy! he answers a lot of questions and posts lots of helpful stuff at the Cinematography.com forum.

Ryan, you and I both know a pro like that would never be texting on set... He must be checking the DoF for the next shot on his iPhone... Or...texting a PA for some coffee!
