Just wanted to post on this so when the next person searches for Caldigit HDD information they can see this feedback. I bought a Caldigit VR last year and recently had one of the drives go out. The support team at Caldigit did a great job of helping my diagnose the problem and I ended up sending the unit back. Not only did they check both drives for any issues, they turned it around quickly and I have the unit up and running again in perfect condition with zero data loss. Over the years I've ended up in arguments with WD and Maxtor people over drive failures and they pretty much told me to go away. It's nice to step up into the world of professionals who make products for what we do and then stand behind them if needed. Kudos.
