Calculate MPEG2 Size

I know this has come up before but search didn't come up with anything useful. Does anyone have a link to a website and/or equation to calculate the size of an output MPEG2 file from DV? I need to compress about 1 hour of footage down to a single layer DVD.
 
what are you using for mpeg encoding? I've put 3 hours of dvcam based footage to single layer dvds.

I would think a 2 pass variable bit rate of around 5mbs would work fine for 60 minutes.

That's actually precisely the settings I ended up going with! As it turns out I had plenty of extra space with that setting though so I may render again using something a bit higher. The footage is fairly static so it compresses well. Right now I'm using the Main Concept encoder. Not great but it does the job.
