so i am getting my PSC-DV3 mixer...hey, it fit the budget!
i just bought a K-Tek coiled boom and a Rode shock mount yesterday at Location Sound. The guy also sold me on a Rycote Windjammer for my shotgun mic.Hope it works in the wind.

Anyways...i have 4 working XLR's from my band days..pretty long - 15 ft each.
do i need to go out and get some heavy duty cables? longer cables? breakaway cables? etc..etc...

any input would be great!

thanks in advance,
e

Those cables should work fine... it depends on what the PSC is going to plug into. You may need some attenuation. That's a current hot topic for me at least.

breakaway with return cable , make it work with rca outs on the camera as well (2 rca to pl mine female connector which connects to pl mini on the tail of your brake away) so you can pass on the dvx headphone amp
use right angle rcas for connecting to the camera
these cables runs for 200-240 depends on the cable sort and length and (16 feet is regular length)
ask matt, might compand the price for you and make you one and the rca-pl adaptor

Eeeee... not yet, not yet! As per the usual... thought I'd have parts here by today... called... said Monday. Gimme' a couple days to get stuff together... I'll post when I have some done.
