Cable for RCA > 1/4" TS?

I've already made my own XLR cables using Canare StarQuad cable, which I absolutely love, but now I need to make some RCA to 1/4" TS cables, too. I don't really want to use the StarQuad, since it's overkill (and it was $.49/ft.) What cable would be the best to use for short (~6 ft) RCA to 1/4" cables? I was came across West Penn Wire 25291B and Belden L-2B2AT in my searches. The only expierence with West Penn is that I know my home theatre was wired with it (I live in East Pennsylvania, so no surprise there.) But I don't know if those are good choices, if they are durable enough, reject noise, etc.

Seriously, this isnt the answer your looking for but come on..

You "absolutely love" Canare starquad
and need to make cables 6 ft and under and $3 dollars is too much for you compared to
$2 dollars of another brand?

There are times to try to save money, but the amount of time it took you to do the research elsewhere, to post here..etc is it really worth it?
Come on man.

I suppose you're right. I just don't want to be using StarQuad for stuff when it's necessary. I do expect to make more RCA and 1/4" cables, and I don't want to use my entire inventory of StarQuad making them.

The reason I love StarQuad is because of the flexibility and durability. The cables I want to make don't need to be nearly as flexible since they will be used semi-permanently (mixer to recorder), unlike my XLRs.

Any old shielded cable is going to be just about as good as any other in this sort of application. At somne level, wire is just wire.

I wouldn't even make them. You can buy them for less than the parts and in that installation I'm not sure what the advantage is to DIY. I have made a lot of cables but these I would buy.
Cheers
