Hi - hope I can get an answer quickly - I have to use this tomorrow...
I want to use Adobe Onlocation to record footage on a Windows Laptop...
The person I am recording for is on a Mac....
So I thought what I would do is format the portable drive as FAT32 - On location says it will span across multiple files when recording on Fat32 and Macs can read FAT32 - so all good!
But my laptop is Vista so I discover I have to use exFAT - not FAT32.
Problem with this is it has no file size limits so is just like NTFS.
So can macs read exFAT - or should I format the portable drive on an older XP machine to get FAT32?????
