Hi Guys,
Need some advice here, please. I own a Canon C500 and like you all probably know the functionality of this camera isn´t great without an External recorder.
There are quite a few options out there for this camera and would like to know what´s best. I own an Atomos Shogun which allows me to record 4k but can´t go higher than 30p. I recently tried the Odyssey 7Q+ with the C500 and loved it! The camera with this recorder produce beautiful images and it just make sense,however each hard drive+battery plate+ RAW bundle makes the whole thing so expensive.I just saw a bargarian of the gemini 4:4:4 which as far I know have the same features as Odyssey 7Q+, am I right? I also had a look at the AJA Ki Pro which has similar price as Odyssey but not sure of what´s the difference between these recorders rather than ergonomics. I know that the Gemini is pretty much extint but it stills offer 4K 4:4:4, and 120fps-I believe?
Which recorder do you think is more suitable for this camera?
