We just got back from DVExpo in Pasadena and surprise! RedRock had a C100 in their booth all decked out with a cage & the wireless Follow focus system....So if you are in LA and you want see it, get over to the expo (it goes thru tomorrow)....here's a quick video we did on it.....

Jim, it is rare I see an industry pro like you so excited, this must be one special camera. You were like a kid with his first car.

Sounds like the C100 is a stealth hit that will inspire an ecosystem of third party accessories.

Now for the inevitable tech spec questions,

Have you seen any footage shot with the C100/Ninja2 combo? That will be a killer combo for serious work with a total price less than half a C300. Will you guys offer a combo package?

I know it was in a cage, did anyone at RedRock give you a clue as to how much lighter it was?

Looking through the viewfinder was fine for me....no, I didn't see any footage recorded to an outside device. We are planning on have the right recorder to pair with the C100 and we are in the middle of evaluating which one or ones will work the best (Nano, Atomos, Pix, etc). As for the weight, you could see it was loaded with the RedRock accessories so there was no way ask them to take them off......
