C-Stands

look for amvona auctions on ebay. VERY reasonable prices and I've been happy with the quality. It might take a few trys to get the price you want, but they always have auctions going. I got an XL c-stand with grip arm and two heads for under $75 shipping included.
 
I have seen those and have tried to bid on a few but without the buy it now option, it is hard to purchase one. How is the quality compared to the more expensive ones? Is it cheaply made?

Maybe I've only used cheap ones in the past, but I'm very happy with the quality - if anything I wish mine was a bit lighter in build. I'll definitely buy more in the future.

Hopefully others with more experience will chime in. I will say this, though - they beat the hell out of Calumet c-stands which I've used before and don't care for.
 
I bought a Matthews c-stand on Ebay just recently. Great purchase, saved
almost $75. This stand was hardly used.
