Bye bye Karma GoPro. You had no chance.

so dope... that I'm still waiting on mine (sounds like the p4 pro is already shipping while the mavic - announced, what, 2 months prior, is still on back order)

I have a P4 Pro+ on order as I see the camera in the P4 and Mavic to be the weak spot but I think that Mavic is the most exciting drone as of now.

Just received the P4Pro and it's probably the best of all the DJI offerings, being that it has the best balance of all attributes. (I've had the P2, P4, and the Inspire 1). Plus 100 for the P4Pro.

I concur. Just flew my first flights today. And can feel the addiction setting in.
Now... trying to find some ND's to put on that little cam...

I got the TACO RC NDs. They fit nice and snug and don't interfere with the gimbal. No vibrations or other weirdness either and you can put them on the lens before start up..

Thanks for that confirmation. Was reading lots of varying user reports last night... many conflicting - and finally decided to wait until I could trust something before ordering.

Thought I'd update this thread for other folks possibly still waiting on their Mavic to arrive...
While I absolutely love the way it flies and handles ( my only other experience is with Inspire 1).... after my first day of testing, I looked at the footage and some very weird - almost tilt-shift lens stuff going on... with often up to 1/3 of left or right side of frame being very soft focus - sometimes changing sides while focusing adjusts. Happens in both autofocus and seemed to be even worse in manual. Visited the DJI forum to find out I wasn't the only one...Did a lot more testing even when drone was stationary - and definitely problem with lens (assuming this is more an assembly problem since not everyone has it.)
So, I've contacted them... and wondering how many of the early shipments this affects - but I've sent mine back for a full refund. Rather stinks to wait that long for product only to be disappointed by it. :(

You do know you need to tap to focus right?

Yes. I am quite aware that in the autofocus mode - you need to tap to focus. The problem I experienced happened in both autofocus as well as manual focus. If you do a bit of searching, you'll see other users are having same issue.
