Hey guys!
I am trying to connect a BVW-50 Betacam Sp Recorder Player with my FCP. I would like to come in and out component using the 26pin cable out of the deck.
I have a Black Magic Decklink SP card in my G5. I was wondering if I were to buy a 3 BNC Male component cable to a 26 pin male cable and use a coupler to then marry it to the snake coming out of the Decklink card, would I be able to get component video in and out?

I know that if you go 26pin (BVW-50) to 29pin (camera) you would be able to record the camera in the deck.
Very confused...anyone has had this same scenario?
