Buying Walkie Talkie set; help?

[FatBird19]

I'm looking to buy a set of walkie talkies w/ headsets for an upcoming film I'm producing.

I want to be able to use these on my next films too, so I'm looking for something good.
-What features should I be looking for?
-Any brands I can trust?
-Should I buy used?

Get a good pair from Radio Shack. They'll tell you all you need to know. That's where my producer friends got his and he's been happy with them ever since. You'd be surprised at how less you have to spend to get a good set of talkies.

I bought a pair of motorolas from target for $17 and they work perfectly and batteries last forever. I don't understand how they can make something this good for that price, but they can. I've used $4,000 handi talki's, so have a reference point, these things really work.
