Buying the right bulb for Arri 1.2k Par

I recently bought a used Arri 1.2k HMI Par (Old headlight style). It works great, but I am fearing the day that I charge a production a rental rate, and the bulb doesn't work (what are the chances of that happening by the way?). So I figured I better buy a spare bulb to have ready.

And before I drop $100+ on a bulb, I want to make sure I'm getting the right one. I found one that looks right, but it says for 100v instead of 120v, which seems wrong. But I can't find any that say for 120v. Does anyone know the right bulb to get?

Single ended lamps are pretty much a standard now in not only film/tv lighting where HMIs are used but also in theatrical spotlights and moving head lights. They're going to be around for a long time.

Double ended ones will be around as well but single ended are more compact and that's what people want these days is the most compact fixture possible.

In keeping with the topic of the thread, where do you guys get your used higher end lights from? eBay or do rental houses offer them for sale? Hard to find a resource.

I got mine through Alan Gordon in hollywood. They have a consignor in New Mexico with tons of used HMI lighting and grip equipment.

For tungsten lights Ive had good luck with craigslist.
