Buying quality audio accessories in the uk?

I am trying to find accessories, and mics to purchase in the uk.

After all the helpful info on this site, i have decided to start my audio encounter with
the AKG 300b with ck93 and ck98, possibly a ck94 for interview work.
For the majority of my work a mic stand will suffice, but i am looking for shock mounts , which will be for the stand, probably a boom, and on camera when no alternative (hvx).

The mics seem to be a good price at dv247.com, but after reading the advice here, I am having trouble finding the mounts on uk sites. akg and rode are common, but gitzo, sambra, ktek are hard to find. Also info on windshields for these mics.

Can anyone help me on my search, or give advice on where to get good accessories from? Do the rode or akg mounts come any where close to the other 3 makes that are so liked here?

Any help please..

Thanks

I'd highly recommend you have a look at Thomann. They are a German company but ship to the UK for about £7 (free if you spend over £130).

They have pretty much everything i've ever read about on here that I could never find in UK shops, such as the Sambra shock mount. It's not named Sambra on the site, but I can assure you it definitely is. 90% of the time their stock is far cheaper than anywhere else too.

Customer service is excellent, really quick helpful responses and very friendly. When you order, you get assigned a member of staff who deals with it from start to finish.

Happy shopping
