Buying from Ebay?

Nevermind, I came to my senses reading they are from Brooklyn and they will probably scam me.

What's a good online site with a good price for a dvx100b?

I ordered from this place that I found on Ebay, but NOT through ebay! I just called them on the 800 number.....Justin ext. 261 I'm getting it on tuesday, it was
$2699+ $149 shipping, (I think I got ripped off on the shipping) I didn't go for any of the extra crap; battery, filters, case. My discussion with Justin was a usa model with a 1 yr. warranty, and eligible for the $400 rebate..........................................
I'm now a bit worried that I may be getting a grey model, and possibly NOT getting the $400 rebate! I have contacted Jan the DVX100 queen on this user group, and when I get the camera, I will give her the serial number, and she will give me the good word, or other wise, if it is a grey model. I've done some searching on line for J & K cameras, and can't find an address, or really any website? :Drogar-Sick(DBG):One thing that I would have done differently is maybe order it through ebay, and that way, I would have some other recourse to returning it, getting my $$ back, or having them help me out if it was a bogus deal.....anyway I will let you know what I end up getting.

I would not buy my camera on Ebay, I have however (and have) bought
accessories such as mattebox, filters, Pelican case, etc. The camera get at a
store that carries the Panasonic warranty. Do not take short cuts.

You need to understand though that I live in Canada. Most websites only offer UPS for shipping and if I bought this camera from B&H, I will end up paying around a $600 brokerage fee (literally). If you know of a website that ships to Canada, accepts Paypal and will use USPS (not UPS), PLEASE tell me. If I use USPS, there won't be a massive brokerage fee.

This is why I shop on Ebay. It's almost my only choice.
 
Hmmm, that is a problem. You use a third party to do the transaction. Pay them,
they buy the item, ship it to you, you pay shipping fees to them, sort of thing.

I don't think that Canadian website accepts Paypal? I can't buy an item that expensive with my credit card.... I don't have enough credit.... I just got my first credit card not long ago (i'm only 19 years old)...
 
Nope, I was hoping to order it in two days (Tuesday). It looks like Evs might be able to help me. I think i'll try there.
