buying advice

I am shopping for two items and need advice ;

1.The first item is a mattebox, I have narrowed it down to one of two, a Vocas and a Chroziel, does anyone have an opinion on these?

2. I have a crane/jib that I need both a zoom and focus control for, no problem on the zoom but the focus is a different story. I have noticed many posts in the forum on creating such a thing but has anyone actually done so or is there a company out there that has one?

Try and search for "vocas." I'm pretty sure I saw a thread floating around about their matteboxes.

As for the 2nd question, sorry can't really help.
