Buying a DVX from EVS...

Next week, I'm going to be ordering a DVX100A and I found the best price at profeel.com and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with them.  I have check all the merchant rating sites and they seem to have good ratings, I just wanted to see what you all thought.

Okay, just kidding. I happened to see one of the DVXUser ads for EVS Online so it's now between Profeel and them. I can't find much about EVS but they have free 3day shipping and they "seem" a little better. Any thoughts?

I was once looking at profeel, and someone wrote to me and said they were good.  However, EVS is only a little more expensive and you get free shipping with it.  I have heard only good things about EVS and they are an authorized panasonic dealer whereas profeel is not.  I think EVS is the safer play and only marginally more expensive.

I was leaning towards EVS. In fact if you include profeel's shipping charge EVS is a bit cheaper (by a few dollars). :)

talk to cody at EVS and tell them your from DVXuser.com and he might beat Profeel's price.

That's incredible! Thank you, I really appreciate that. I'm waiting for a deposit to clear which will hopefully be today (before they close), but if not will it be a problem ordering it on monday and ask for Cody?

phone him right now and let him know well your still in his head. Let him know your waiting for the deposit and it should be fine.

Alright, he said it was cool and he went ahead and got my info for the sale. I just need to call when it clears. He said that he would beat profeel's price by a bit and give me cost on whatever next day is.

Bah, looks like I'm going to have to wait until monday. (Curse being impatient) I need my fix! Oh well, nothing to do now except wait.

Alright, everything is done, and I should be getting the DVX100A and Vegas Video at my doorstep tommorow around 10. I as giddy as a school girl!

EVS is great. I have had no problems with them. Bought my DVX there, my tripod and sticks and my tapes. Each order came when specifed and they wont try and upsell you or surprise you with anything! I usually deal with Rush.

I'm also planning to buy the DVX 100A this week, but I'm living in Canada. Will they match the ProFeel's price for me as well?
