buy low sell high

Charli

cool little "title"
I've only done this a few times and gotten a 200% profit, but don't you wish you could find a product in which you could continuously buy low and sell high - ah the American dream.

Yeah... the only downside to it is that the ones selling low need to sell more, or continuously sell at that price to chase their own dreams... and suddenly you aren't the only one selling that product... and in an attempt to take YOUR sales, the other guy is selling for less... and pretty soon the first company making the product is selling to several people like you and the second guy... and before you know it the world is revolving around the lowest common denominator.

*ahem*

Not like THAT is happening or anything.

*ahem*

Anyway... what you really need to do... is to CREATE that product... and protect it, so that you're the only source... and hopefully that product is either unique, and better than, similar products... or else in a league of it's own.

That's what I'm working on. That's what really needs to happen to get the results you're dreaming about.

For a moment I was crushed, Matt, now I'm inspired.

Are you working on that thing you said you were working on that you made yourself that would be better and more efficient? I'm thinking a time back now.

Hmmmm, now I have to consider how to patent an idea, how to get that idea manufactured and then sold.

I don't think that would be great. To me, marketing and struggling to make something work is fun. I don't like it to be easy.

Yes, but the time to take new pictures of it, put it up on Ebay, then lose 8-9% of it to paypal and Ebay fees... it's usually not worth the hassle unless you're unemployed and need beer money.

Ryan - I just did some spring cleaning to get rid of junk I accumulated the last three years and by using my writing skills (like stupid-harassing photographers I used to describe a defected book I had) I cashed in over 2k on Ebay & Craiglist.

It's all about marketing, marketing, marketing.

When I was in junior high, I used to buy candy with my lunch money. I'd double my funds for food by selling the candy between classes. I must have eaten 10 hamburgers a week back then. Loved those French Apple pie Tastykakes, too. Washed it all down with chocolate milk.
