Yeah.. It's grayed out. Can't use it. Why would that be? I'm working with p2.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I'm wanting to search my footage for particular things that were said during the interviews I shot. So it looks like I"m suppose to go into the meta data of a clip and near the bottom of that it says Speech Transcript. And below that there is a button that says Transcribe but I can't select it.
OK. Never in a million years would I have guessed you were talking about the Speech Transcript from your initial post. 
Any time you ask a question, be as detailed as possible.
You have to make a speech transcript before you can search it. You do this through Clip>Audio Options>Transcribe to Text.
However, be aware that you have to deselect "Read-only" in the folder options (in Windows) -- right click on the Contents folder for the P2 card, choose Properties, and deselect it. Then choose to have it apply to all sub-folders.
Then, you'll be able to use it.
