Business Card Printing

I haven't gotten out and printed my business cards yet.
I already have an idea what I want to do, all I need to do is get the template and fill in my info with a few changes.

But, where is the best place to print?

My cards will have a glossy finish on both the front/back and in colour. Where can I get this done?

Is there anything local possibly?

Depending on your needs, like if you are traveling while promoting a film, it's easiest to keep a master business card file on a USB key and then print them out as needed at any FedEx store in the country. You can even save money by cutting the cards yourself. If you do it that way you can print 4 colors up to 10 at a time for like $1.50 and then save the expense of the initial cost of printing and the added travel weight.

You're about 50km from a FedEx Store. It looks like these guys could help you find what you are looking for exactly. http://kaizenmarketing.ca/ They are in St. Catharines

My advice is take your time and produce a good looking card. In many cases it is the first thing you hand to someone and it along with your demeanor will be their first impression. Later that card may be scanned or passed on or perhaps discarded but in many cases people still keep business card files. Working with someone who does design work or with a good print shop on layout and content is worth the time and effort. A business card is about your BUSINESS. Good luck and I am sure there are lots of options around Brock one of my favourite universities in Canada.

gotprint.com does good work. They'll send you a sample pack of their paper types and finishes. Also take a look a letterpress. Much more expensive per card, but nothing looks better.
