Burning Marker Information

Is there a way to burn marker information into the canvas similar to how timecode can be burned into the image? I have footage from a shoot that did not use a slate so I need to label each shot inside FCP, but the info needs to be visible for screener dvd's going out to everyone in charge of making paper edits.
