Burning Charcoal Titles?

Hi guys --

I saw a trailer on Discovery or NatGeo (can't remember) that had the title look like charcoal or burning iron, with reflections on the street where the titles sat. It looked really cool.

Any idea how that can be done (= titles look like burning charcoal or iron plus reflection on surface)

I would have to see it, but you should probably try the 3D thread. It could maybe be something like After Effects too. It depends on what it was.
