Burning a hole.

Hey everybody. I've got a thousand bucks of overtime saved and I need to spend it on something cool. I've got a DVXB with redrock m2, FF and 28, 50, 85 lenses. I've got an on board monitor, a Kessler crane, Technica shotgun, Oktava hyper, small Lowell light kit. How would you guys spend it? These are the things I'm considering, thanks MJ.

Telephoto lens,
Big light,
RR mattebox,
on board LEL,
laptop,
save up for an H2,
the motorized head for my crane,
Accessories like Cstands, scrims,
stickypod,
kino kit,
better mic

Thanks.

I'd spend it on shipping all of your gear to me. Barring that, a longer lens would be a nice addition. Anything from a 105 to a 200. Or even an 80-200 zoom.

yeah send it to me after jason's done - what kind of work do you do though? Seems several different directions you could go.

Spend it to do a short film (actors..) or buy some more light (lightpanel or umbrellas or reflectors)

Go on vacation

Take a trip and rent a log cabin in the woods. Lock yourself in and write a great script.
Then shoot it with the equipment you have!

Nice berlinfool, and thanks to the rest of you. But I gotta spend this paper. And Berlinfool, just to play the devil's advocate, isn't there a certain level of cinematogaphy that needs to be achieved in order to truly compete? Wouldn't you argue that great cinematography and sound are important to most movies? Even Robert R., when he got the dough, got the pimped out gear. I guess I always want the picture to look better.

And I wrote the script, that's how I started, now I gotta figure out how to shoot it.
