Burned in timecode - Premier 2.0

Hi Everyone,

As I mentioned in a previous post, a client wants a copy of all her raw footage on DVD with burned in timecode.

Someone mentioned that Premier Pro 2.0 has that feature. I currently use 1.5, but I am willing to upgrade.

Can anyone post a screen shot of how this looks? It would be incredibly helpful to show my client the "video + timecode" before upgrading.

You can do it in premiere 2. There are other reasons you should upgrade too. Like codecs and a faster render time.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the screen grabs. I've been meaning to upgrade, and this is as good an excuse as any. My client just wanted to see what the timecode looked like.

I'm ordering the upgrade from Adobe tomorrow.

Go into the video effects and I believe it's under video then you put the timecode effect on clip.

You could purchase the great little plugin called DVdate which works fine with 1.5.

Its cheap. Less than $50 US)

It would be less expensive in the longrun to upgrade to 2.0. It's only 50 bucks more than the software listed in the post above and then everything else PP2 has to offer.
