I got my movie edited on Vegas.
I got dvd burner.

I need Vegas to burn simple dvd (without going to Architect).
Should I just ask Vegas to Render as: MPEG2 and then burn DVD.

Can I skip Architect (I got to send it NOW no time to learn Architect)

You don't have to learn much in DVDA to burn a DVD. Render to MPEG2 and drop that file into your workspace in DVDA. Hit the "make DVD" button and follow the directions. That's all you need to do for a simple, quick and dirty DVD.

You can't burn an MPEG2 image direct to DVD, it needs a different file structure. But the approach above may not work for you, since DVDA does not support many drives well. It took me three months to burn my first DVD, as I went thru several drives and several media brands/types and several programs and finally settled on a procedure that including using DVDA for authoring and Nero to actually do the burn. i have nero, can you tell me what should i do now?

pls i just dont know how to burn dvd -r (mpeg 2) in architect...

ok i have just burned MPEG2(on DVD -R) using Nero software which came with my 200 dvd burner i just got from staples :)
