Burn Notice

[BryantStanton]

Tried searching for any older posts on this show, but couldn't find any. If anyone knows of a topic already started on this, point me in the right direction.

Caught a few episodes of this show the other day and was fairly impressed. Nothing extraordinary, but a fun, entertaining show.

And it's got Bruce Campbell!

Anyway, just curious if anyone else has had time to check this out. I rarely watch TV, and this one pleasantly surprised me.

One of my current favorites (since it first came on). Along with House and Psych.

Psych is a great show. Haven't seen much of Burn Notice. But the guy that stars in it was on an episode of Monk. Another good show.

Watched the first season on DVD. Liked it. Didn't necessarily love it. Quirky enough to keep my attention, but formulaic enough not to feed my hunger for more.

Will watch later seasons on DVD eventually.

I enjoy watching Burn Notice. The new Season just started and I'm very excited about it. I like the fast pace action and narration, it's gives it a unique feel.

And at the very least, now I know how to protect my house against hostile invaders haha.

My friend DPs burn notice, he leaves in March to start the next season. It's pretty cool hearing all the behind the scenes stuff.

Wife and I LOVE the show.

Ah yes, how can I forget Monk. Another of my favorites.

Love it. Started watching it for Bruce and couldn't stop.

Just started watching this on Five in the UK.
Very easy on the eyes and the brain. It's like MacGuyver meets Bourne with gratuitous bikini shots.
I can't decide if Gabrielle Anwar is a bad actor or not. There's something a bit off about her performance. Funny how in the second episode they decide to drop her oirish accent.

[Allan Black]

I enjoy it great location. Funny a buddy who lives in Miami has never heard of it IMO Gaby Anwar suits the role, but her oirish accent didn't seem to work, Jeffrey Donovan looked like he was about to crack up a couple of times. The first 2 seasons on DVD include some funny out takes, looks like they're all pretty loose.

Season 4 starts on Fox here next Feb, aren't they up to season 7 .. is Sharon Gless still smoking ?

Cheers.
