"Burn Notice" Cinematography

So, I just watched the season premiere of the show, and noticed the drastically different cinematography of the show.

In the previous seasons, I believe they shot on 16mm 250D and 500T Fuji film stocks. Now, it seems much more like 35mm Kodak stocks. Much, much less grain, much more detail. The previous seasons had cinematography that was different and really stood out from other shows on primetime tv. Now, it just seems (to me anyway) like "generic primetime drama cinematography". I myself like shy away from being normal and usual, and like to try something new.

Just wanted to see what other people think of this change in the cinematography.

I noticed that less than I noticed more that this season opener left much to be desired in the script/plot department.

I hope that it gets better.
