It looks kinda real. I bet I could fool some of my friends. Are you guys positive it's fake. That would be so ****ed up if it wasn't!
 
something about the timing doesnt feel right, when the guy slingshots back up...seems odd...

also something about the camera motion doesnt say "OMG, that guys just got f*cked up by an aligator while decending from a bungie cord"

to bad WMV cant go frame by frame...also the disturbance in the water from the gator doesnt seem substantial enough...seems like we should be seeing more chaotic stuff on the water.
 
It's fake, I know the editor that cut the piece - cutandrun - it's on their house reel as well...
