I've searched for a good hour on this site, but to no avail. I'm looking for a bullet cam for mounting on helmets for motocross. I've seen at least a dozen that look good, but isn't what I’m looking for. I want to spend some good money on something that will give me good picture.

Any help is appreciative.

Doesn't look very durable at all. I need something that is bullet proof.

I set up a appointment with Alan Gordon in LA, they have some cams, but i want to see if i'm missing something.....

Anyone else?

That looks pretty cool.

I remember covering the NATO air campaign against the Serbs during the Bosnia war from an aircraft carrier and one of the TV crews attached a lipstick cam to the helmet of one of the pilots. They got awesome footage of the entire flight and totally scooped everyone else...it was pretty funny.

Have wondered ever since what exactly they were using as the images were beautiful.

When I last looked into this (was looking for HD res cams) Sony produces a couple of nice units, might have been 1/2" sensors.

The same makers of the viotac make the viosport. I think that's my best bet. Comes with interchangable lens and the picture quality isn't too bad.
