Bullet Hole Prop Jacket?

I'm shooting a short film in which I will have 1 of the characters get riddled with bullets and was wondering if there was a prop jacket that I could buy or if anyone knows how to make 1. I will not be showing the gun blasts, just showing the character being riddled with bullets. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here's another idea I just had....

What if you used some chroma key tape and stuck it on the jacket in the places where you want bullet holes? Then with After effects create a tracking matte for each "hole" (which the chroma tape will make easy work) and use nearby pixels to paint out the green. Then change the color of each separate hole from the jacket color to whatever works for a bullet hole, one by one as the actor takes the gunshot. You could also use the mattes to add a little distortion to show impact. And your actor can use a small ziplock to pop open and release some blood.

Then peel off all the green tape and cut in the real holes where each piece was and continue shooting the scene.

I'm completely unsure as to whether or not this will work, but it might be worth testing out.
