Building new system

Hey People...

Didn't really know where to post this, so I guess this is as good a place as any..

I'm really thinking about setting up a true editing system since my laptop really isn't cutting it anymore. I used to follow the computer game pretty closely a couple of years ago and have built a couple of systems over the years, but lately I've fallen of the bandwagon and don't really know what to look for..

One of the systems I'm looking at is this one:

-AM2 DualCore 4200+ X2 Athlon64 with 2x512K cache, 2000FSB+HT
-MSI K9N SLI 2F - nForce570 SLI, 6xSATA2 Raid, 2xPCI-E 16X, 4xDDR2, AM2
-2GB Dual DDR2 (2 x 1GB 667MHz DDR2) from Corsair
-320GB WD Caviar SE16 - SATA II 300MB/s, 7200RPM and 16MB buffer
-16xDVD±/8xDL burner, 48x/32x/48x CD skrifari
-7.1 Sound Blaster Audigy SE from Creative, 24 bit, EAX 3.0 Avanced HD
-5.1 Altec Lansing speaker system
-2 x 256MB MSI Geforce7 NX7900GT - 1.32GHz DDR3 - SLI PCI-E 16X
-19" LCD Acer AL1951as Gamers, CrystalBrite, 700:1, 8ms, Silver monitor
-Windows XP PRO SP2
-DUAL Gigabit lan - 2 x 10/100/1000 Gigabit Lan
-400W Fortron power with one 120mm fan

What should a I be adding, subtracting, or just looking at?

don't take my word as the "expert" advice you will get from a lot of these folks on here, but is there a reason why you're not considering the intel core duo chip? I hate to admit it, being an amd guy for a long time now, but it really is superior in pretty much every benchmark. The "bottom line" core duo beats most any amd there is from what I have seen. As far as PC's are concerned, it seems like intel has convincingly retaken the top spot from AMD.

* you might want to think about a larger wattage power supply as well, with sli configuration and xtra goodies sucking it up. Larger or second hard drive possibly to. use the 320 as a system drive, and get a 750 gig from tigerdirect or somebody. tigerdirect has the 750 (maxtor?) 300mb/s for something like $449, I think.
Hop it helps *

how bout something like this?
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2368430&Tab=2&NoMapp=0 you can customize to your liking.

if you catch tiger with their specials, you can get some really good deals. mainly i used them for my hardware, because they are competitive (depending on what your looking at), but also because they have great tech support. I fried a 300 gb hdd, several months back, and it was probably my fault. I sent it back, they sent me a new one. ( i din't exactly say it was probably my fault though :) )
