Building new system for HVX100? Options???

Hi.

Here is the system I am going to build. I want to use it to Edit HVX100 DvcProHD.
---------------------------------------------------------------

CPU = AMD Opteron 270 Dual Core processors.
MB = Tyan Thunder K8WE
RAM = 2GB of Ram
GPU = Nvidia Quadro FX540 - (maybe 2 of em for 3 monitor editing)
2x Maxtor 250gb S-ATA in RAID 0 config (500gb)
Maxtor 250g EIDE system disk.
----------------------------------------------------------------

Say I have this rig setup w/ Adobe Production studio (edit with Premiere Pro 2). In the future I want to get the HVX100, but what are my only options for editing with it? I belive they are:

1) Matrox Axio LE = heard it dosnt support it yet if ever. (right?)
2) Avid = I dont want to learn avid when I have 10 years of experinece w/ Premiere.
3) Canopus Edius NX with HD pack = I would have to learn Edius & dont want to.
4) AJA Xena HS w/ Prospect HD= Intergrated closely in Premiere Pro 2 means it should be really stable but Im not sure it supports DVCPRO HD yet if ever. ???
5) Final Cut Pro HD = Not an option. Im not switching platforms. I heard this is the best way to edit DVCPRO HD. Certainly PCs should be able to do whatever the MAC can do. Plus Opterons are faster than G5s.

And from my research so far thats all I have gatherd as my options. I plan to use the HVX100 for editing in future. But TODAY- we need a system that will be ready for editing with P2 and DVCPRO HD in the future with whatever capture card or hardware that is available (when the time comes). What do you guys suggest or what is the latest news on Premiere pro and the HVX100 editing options? Maybe I will just have to go with the JVC HD camera - at least you can edit that right. And cheaper. How much better could the HVX really look anyway?

It probably is the most stable way. How come you don't want to switch platforms? Just wondering, cause FCP + G5, is almost a turn-key solution, with few incompatibility headaches (motherboard, RAM, video-card etc).

I've used both platforms for quite a while and I encoureage you to have an open mind and at least look at the mac option. also I would get minimum 4gigs of ram.

If you're sticking to PC, I would take a hard look at Canopus Edius.

Also, keep in mind you mentioned you want to edit (pointers). I'm sure any system with high-sustained speed Read/Write drives (eg RAID) would do the job. But, if you want to do motion graphics, rendering, DVD-authoring etc, I would get 4 Gb RAM, and at least a 7800-series (256) video card. Just based on rendering times I'm hearing from Quad G5 users over at the Apple site.
