I am ordering a new FCP system today. I work with the HVX200 and am ordering the EX1 from sony this week.
My system will be the 8 core 3.2 GHz with 8 gigs of ram a 30" cine display, FC studio 2, kona 3x and 2 1tb drives internal, a 24" sony wuxga luma monitor. Also a mac book pro loaded to mirror my desktop for SDE. my question lies in the raid storage should I go cal digit hd pro or others....
I do know the caldigit pro raid card is currently not compatible with the 8 cores but will be by NAB. I hate to buy right before NAB because of new products being released like AJA may come out with a new version of the Kona 3 and Cal digit may have something up their sleeve.... Any takers on recommending what I should do for storage.
