Hey guys
I decided a little while ago that I wanted to build a 35mm lens adapter for my DVX. Obviously I can't afford a Redrock or Letus or any of those. What I have are a set of Canon FD lenses post 1976 that have the rotating barrel locking mechanism - aka the "new" FD lenses. The lenses themselves are excellent, I have them from an old Canon AE-1 35mm SLR. Anyway, I obviously don't want to dismantle my AE-1, so I need advice on how to find the cheapest way to find an FD mount for my lenses that I can put into an adapter.
Also, if anyone else had advice on ground glass options other than the dummy CD, and camera attachment options other than the cut out lens cap, I would love any info. In addition, is there a way to build the adapter and not require an achromatic lens for focusing on the DVX? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
Cheers!
